St Mary's Youth Group
We would like to thank the St. Mary's Youth Group for all of
their heartfelt dedication and hard work for sponsoring their
Annual Souper Bowl of Caring! Because of their efforts they
collected 2086 lbs. of donations and $443! This event took a
lot of time (2 weekends!) and effort. These kids spent time
making t-shirts, handing bags out to St. Mary's parishioners
and then collecting, sorting and stocking all of the donations
at the pantry! We can't thank them and their youth group
leaders enough for their efforts on behalf of the families we
serve!! Thank you also to Hannaford Supermarket for
donating the bags used to collect donations. A great big
thank you to all St. Mary's parishioners for their generosity!

Welcome
Uxbridge Teachers and Students
We would like to thank Uxbridge teachers, Gail Williams and
Becky Plasse and all of their students who helped sponsor
the 2016 Souper Bowl dinner! The McCloskey Middle School
students made beautiful ceramic bowls that participants got
to take home with them. These empty bowls served as a
reminder that someone in our community may be going
hungry. The high school students made delicious soup,
bread and cookies. Through their efforts, they raised over
$600! A special thank you to People First Food Pantry
volunteer Lori Proehl for coordinating these efforts with the
schools. Thank you to all those who braved the cold and
supported this dinner! Hope to see you all next year!
